Small Fry(day) – Christmas in the Nursery
December 20th, 2013
First of all, I am so excited to be here at Beverly Taylor Design and to have the opportunity to share with you! I have a passion for all things design-related, but am going to be narrowing in on my love for children’s spaces. And, specifically those for the wee little ones, the small fry(s)! Planning a nursery is such a fun process. It’s a chance to step outside the box, use your imagination, and create a special place for your little one(s) on the way.
I feel a little pressure here for the first post, but I am going to give it my best shot! As I mentioned, I will be focusing on nursery designs, and I wanted to incorporate something meaningful to me right out of the gate. As we are just days away from Christmas, I thought it would be fun to put together a board reflective of this special holiday; one that has always been a wonderous and magical season for me. I wanted the room to be cozy, playful, and reminiscent of Christmas, but one that can be enjoyed all year round.
I love how this came together! It’s a warm, gender neutral, budget-friendly nursery that still has plenty of pieces that can carry through to the next room, or to other rooms in the house for that matter.
