I found some tricks that may make it better.
Oprah suggests a fancy glass.
Someone else suggested using a straw or drinking a half a glass an hour.
If you put it by your bed it makes drinking a glass on waking is another idea.
If you would like to make it a game how about wearing 8 rubberbands or bracelets and see how fast you can move them from one wrist to the other, keeping track of how much water you’re drinking in the process.
Sparkling water is a nice change but for plain water, flavoring can add some spark!
