An Inexpensive Upgrade For A Small Guest Room At The Lake
April 5th, 2010
This bed was just a mattress on a frame with no headboard, very low and not inviting. I found this big piece of chipping iron and sprayed it with a clear coat of matte varnish to keep it from chipping any more.
Then it was mounted to the wall.
The bed was elevated with leg extenders. After adding a simple dust skirt and curtain panels with matchstick shades and the room is a cozy retreat for guests.
Beverly, I love this headboard! Beautiful!
I love this look! Can't wait to see it at the lake when we go there next!
